In this article, we will go over how to use a custom seed in a Minecraft Server.

First, log into, and select the server that you would like to use a custom seed on.
Next, on the sidebar select "FTP File Access"

Login using the password that you to sign into the panel.
Locate a file called, and click "Edit"

Locate the line labelled level-seed=, then add your seed after the equals symbol. For example, if you wanted to use the seed "awesome", it would be level-seed=awesome

Save the file, and go back to the FTP File List.
Now you need to delete your world folders. These are usually labelled "world", "world_nether" and "world_the_end". You can delete them by selecting the checkbox next to each one, then selecting the Delete button at the top of the file listing.
This will delete all existing world information on your server

Now restart your server.

That's it! You have now regenerated your world using a custom seed. If you have any issues, let us know and we will be happy to help!
